How it all started
St Neot Ladies Church Fellowship began originally as a branch of the "Mothers Union" and has subsequently been renamed the "Ladies Church Fellowship". The group is affiliated to our parish church here in St Neot. The old Mothers Union banner now rests beside the High Altar in St Neot Parish Church.
We meet once a month in the Village Institute. The meetings begin with prayers, this is followed by a guest speaker. During the season of Advent and Lent we hold a short service instead. The meetings end with a prayer and a welcome cup of tea. It is a chance for the ladies of the church to get together on one afternoon a month and enjoy each other's company.
We hold a coffee morning in either May or June, the proceeds of which are given to a local charity of our choice. In May the members enjoy an outing, then the meetings resume again in September. New members are always very welcome. Please contact the Hon. Chairman Rose Wilton on 01579 320837 for further information.
